Sonja Bennett

Sonja Bennett (born 24 August 1980) is a Canadian actress who portrayed Marcie Brasko in Battlestar Galactica. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Bennett has acted in various genre series including Eureka, Stargate Atlantis, Painkiller Jane, The Dead Zone, as well as other Vancouver filmed television series. Bennett starred in the 2002 film Punch which her father, Guy Bennett wrote and directed. She won the Women in Film Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival for Punch. In 2008 she won the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress in a Canadian Film of the Vancouver Film Critics Circle for Young People Fucking (2007).
