Marie Gillain

Marie was born on June 18th 1975 in Belgium. She auditioned for L'Amant (1991) (The Lover) (the role eventually went to Jane March) and months later, the same casting director remembered her and asked her to try out for Mon père ce héros (1991) (My Father, The Hero), which was the start of Marie's career! In 1996 Marie received the Prix Romy Schneider. She was the heroine of the John Malkovich's play Hysteria in Chicago on December 1999. Marie is a model for cosmetics brand Lancôme. She is single but has one daughter, Dune (born in 2004).
