Maria Schneider

Maria Schneider was born on March 17th 1952 in Paris. She started doing movies at the end of the sixties. Her breakthrough role was in 1972, in 'Last tango in Paris'. Schneider was origanally cast to play the part of "Conchita" in Luis Buñuel last film "That obscure object of Desire" but was fired during the first days of shooting and replaced with two actresses (Angela Molina and Carole Bouquet).
