Laura Malmivaara

Laura Malmivaara was born on October 26, 1973 in Kajaani, Finland. She is not only an actress but also a professional photographer and has had her own exhibitions. Before photography (and later acting) studies, she also briefly studied theology. Laura's debut on the big screen was in 1993 with a couple of very small roles. Her breakthrough was in 1997 in the tv series 'Tähtilampun alla'. Laura appeared in 10 episodes. A whole lot of movies followed and from 2002 to 2011 Laura also appeared in 89 episodes of the tv series 'Kotikatu'. Laura Malmivaara is married to Aku Louhimies, the director of 'Levottomat' and a whole lot of other movies. They have one child!
